David Cooper ‘Retrospective’
David Cooper has been a member of Bishop’s Stortford Art Society for over 20 years and currently is acting as the President and membership secretary. He was born in East London and is a self-taught artist. His art is mostly focused on landscapes and street scenes. He adheres to traditional techniques like watercolors, oil paintings, pastels and similar.
His paintings have a great appeal to general public. Sincere approach is instantly recognised  and can be classified as pure and raw. This organic method has been a source of inspiration for many contemporary artists.
Regrettably his daughter Helen suddenly died from lung cancer in November, 2018 at the young age of 53 and as a tribute to her memory David and his wife Janet would like to make this contribution in support of cancer research.
All proceeds go to Cancer charity.
