Based on her book The Autistic Teen Girl’s Guide to School, the event on Saturday 7th February, 1:30pm, will feature topics including:
• Introduction and understanding autism
• Communication and building relationships
• Executive function – classwork, homework, exams
• Managing sensory overload and coping with additional diagnoses – environment
• Mental health – anxiety, meltdowns, shutdowns, energy accounting
• Life after school
