This centre will re-open from Monday 20th July 2020 However hirers should keep in mind that indoor sports/fitness activities are not permitted until 25th July 2020. It will be the responsibility of the hirer to check what the government guidelines are for their specific activity/event. In addition to this all hirers will be required to carry out their own risk assessment and BSTC will require a copy of this before hire is permitted. Information about the centre
Havers Community Centre offers two rooms which can also be joined into one large room. There is also a committee room for quiet meetings, yoga or meditation. Suitable for the elderly and disabled. Rates from £5 per hour.
Havers Community Centre offers two rooms which can also be joined into one large room. There is also a committee room for quiet meetings, yoga or meditation. Suitable for the elderly and disabled. If you have children, enjoy quizzes, sporting activities, drama or simply wish to socialise with your friends and neighbours, we look forward to seeing you at The Havers Community Centre soon. The centre has a large hall, which can be divided to make a main and a smaller hall, available for hire separately or as a whole. A large functional kitchen has serving hatchways into the main hall. There is also a good size committee room, which would be available for one-to-one use or for committee meetings. This room is equipped with several desk-height electrical sockets for IT use and Wi-Fi, making it ideal for teaching or club use. Dog training sessions are not permitted in this venue. Only Guide Dogs permitted in the venue
Please note that no 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th or 21st birthday parties are permitted at this venue.
Parties ages 12+ are required to leave a £300 cash damage deposit.
NB: The use of helium balloons, chinese lanterns and naked flamed candles are not permitted at this community centre.
NB: In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the key to Havers Community Centre, during out of office hours, please contact the Tourist Information Centre, in the Town Centre Tel No 01279 715001, they have spare keys and are open on Saturdays between 10:00-16:00hrs. In all other cases of where you cannot gain access and no one else is available please contact Mr J Wyllie on 07799 595045.
