Testing of Paddling Pool

Bishop's Stortford Town Council will be testing the town paddling pool for the next 3 weeks.The pool will be closed and surrounding gates locked from Monday 15th March- Monday 5th April to allow staff to carry out the tests safely. 

Job Vacancy - Outdoor Worker/ Handyman

Bishop's Stortford Town Council has a vacancy for an temporary Outdoor Worker/Handyman for the period May 2021 to September 2021.  The role is full time

This role plays an important part in the organisation within the town, working as part of the Grounds Maintenance Team carrying out day to day maintenance work on the Council’s owned or managed buildings, vehicles and equipment.

Looking for somewhere to advertise in the town for free? The Old River Lane Community Noticeboard (at the entrance to Waitrose car park and the Causeway Car park) is now available for residents and businesses to put up posters/leaflets in the town!

Please see rules of use below:

-Free community noticeboard for all to use.

-You will need a standard cross utility key (available from most retailers) and push pins.

-Please only erect 1 x A4 poster per organisation for 2 weeks per month, which must be removed once this time has lapsed.

This noticeboard is owned by Bishop’s Stortford Town Council and has been donated to the community to run and self-manage.
