What will be provided?
The price of your ticket does not include any seating. The audience area is a grassed area and you are required to bring something to sit on. Please contact us if you or your party requires any additional assistance on site. To accommodate all attendees and to make appropriate provisions at the point of purchase you will be asked whether anyone in your group:

Uses a mobility aide such as walking aids, wheelchairs and mobility scooters

Please note we do not allow tables or gazebos to be brought into the event site.
How many tickets can I buy?
You can only purchase tickets for your household/bubble. There may be a small booking fee added to each purchase depending on your payment choice.
Can I buy a ticket on the door?
No, only beforehand. We will stop selling tickets 48 hours before the event
Will I have a paper ticket?
All of our ticketing is processed electronically so you will not be sent a physical ticket. You can either print your e-tickets or simply download them to your phone or tablet
How do I enter site?
The Monastery Gardens can be accessed by foot via Windhill. Signage will be in place to direct audience members.
When can I arrive?
You will have 45 minutes to arrive before the performance starts allowing you plenty of time to arrive and get settled. All performances will start at the advertised time on the website and the event description
What happens to my information that you require as part of the booking process?
We will only use your data for the purposes of processing your and providing tickets. Your information will not be sold or shared commercially. Your information may also be shared with other agencies or authorities for the purposes of aiding the NHS Test and Trace. During the course of processing or storage, information may reside or pass through electronic systems outside the EU.
What happens if it rains?
The event is outdoor and will go ahead in the event of rain. Please check the forecast on the day of the screening and come prepared for the conditions. If high winds or electrical storms are forecasted, please keep an eye on our social media and your devices as we may text or email with weather updates if required.
Are children allowed to attend?
Audience of any age can attend but those under 16 must be accompanied by adult over the over the age of 18. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone under 16 who is unaccompanied or anyone who is under the certification age. It is recommended that children are 7 years old or older but parental discretion can be used.
Do young children have to have a ticket?
Babes in arms come in for free. Any persons needing to sit down to listen and watch the peformance requires a ticket.
Can I bring my own food & drink?
To create that authentic experience we always bring a dedicated concessions tents to provide all food and beverage traditionally associated with the theatre including popcorn, sweets, chocolate, hot dogs and soft drinks. There is a gourmet substantial food offering. No glass is permitted on the site.
Food and drink can be purchased online, via an app or text service and be bought to your seat.
Can I bring my dog?
Only service dogs are allowed at the performances.
Is on-site parking available?

Can I smoke?
Smoking is not allowed within the seating areas for the comfort of our guests. This includes e-cigs and vapes.
Will there be toilets at the screenings?
Yes, all of our events have toilet facilities, including accessible facilities all located in a socially distanced way. Please use the hand sanitiser stations provided both before and after using the facilities to help stop the spread of the virus.
Can I get a refund?
All tickets are non-refundable, once the tickets are purchased. Bishop’s Stortford Town Council will endeavour to host the event except where prevented from doing so by circumstances beyond its control such as if the Government forbids events or gatherings.
Is there an interval?
Mr Stink has a running time of 2 hours including a 15 minute interval.
