To ensure everyone’s safety and to comply with Covid-19 regulations the overall number of people at this years service will be restricted.The service will also be live streamed on YouTube https://youtu.be/z9t7eyfh7iE

The Town Council is organizing a public draw to allocate free tickets for members of the public to attend the service. This draw is not operated on a first come first served basis. We can only accept one entry per houshold or support bubble. Entries are placed in a draw that is chosen randomly and the successful entries are allocated tickets. One ticket entitles the person named below to bring up to an additional five members of their household or support bubble*** (including babes in arms, children and adults) who do not need to socially distance from each other.

If you are a representative of a military organization/group including cadets or a professional (paid/unpaid) uniformed services such as Police and would like to take part in the static parade contact the Tourist Information Centre, 2 Market Square Bishop's Stortford CM23 3UU, 01279 715001

If you would like to enter the draw for a ticket to attend the service please fill in your information below. This draw will close on 1 November at midnight:

In addition the Town Council are looking for representatives from the community to lay wreaths during the service on behalf of multiple groups, or organizations (personal tributes or tributes on behalf of your particular organization or group are to be laid after the service). Representatives to lay wreaths during the service will be chosen at random.

Wreath layers will be located in a separate location from audience members. The wreath will be provided by Bishop’s Stortford Town Council. 

We will only use your data for the purposes of processing your entry and if successful, in connection with processing and providing tickets for the service. Your information will not be sold or shared commercially. Your information may also be shared with other agencies or authorities for the purposes of aiding the NHS Test and Trace. During the course of processing or storage, information may reside or pass through electronic systems outside the EU.

***This is in line with the current regulations and is subject to change as mandated by law at the time of the event.  If your household or support bubble is larger than 6 please contact Tourist Information Centre. Bishop’s Stortford Town Council will endeavor to host the event except where prevented from doing so by circumstances beyond its control such as if the Government forbids public Remembrance Services.
