2. MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 1 MARCH 2007
RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 1 March 2007 be confirmed as a correct record of the proceedings and be signed by the Chairman.
3. SAFETY ALARMS TO SIXTH FORM PUPILS
Members were shown a selection of alarms available and it was agreed that 441 Defender Heart alarms (model No. DP0120), be ordered, at a cost of £1.65 each, excluding VAT. It was also agreed that a further meeting would be held on Thursday 17 May 2007, with the press in attendance, at which the alarms would be presented to the Youth Councillors.
Members were informed that the alarms would remain the property of the Town Council and the Youth Councillors would be required to deliver the alarms to their respective School Secretary for distribution. At the end of each School year, the alarms would be handed back to the Secretary to be redistributed among the new sixth form girls.

Global Exchange Launch
Youth Cllr Miss Newland mentioned that she had attended the Global Exchange Launch recently, which she had enjoyed.
